A Hitchin III XV overcame an understrength Bigglewade III XV with the help of a couple of II XV enforcers. A 96-7 scoreline shows how Biggleswade III XV were overwhelmed. In these sort of games you still have to put the opposition away and we certainly did that, running in tries from all areas of the field. With the match won within the first 10 minutes, I asked for the boys to keep the concentration levels high and playing simple rugby. They responded with try after try after try.
Scorers included ( and I apologise if I miss anyone out ) Vinny Kevans 4; Ryan Arbon, Dermot Coughlin 3, Magic Jones, Dale Baines, Joe Allison, Matt Hawtin, Sam Deroeck, Simon Banner and Aaron Johnson. A tidy start to the season.
