I hope you are all well and enjoying the 'wet' summer.
I know that you will not believe this but the rugby season is nearly upon us so I thought I would let you all know of the plans for the first few weeks.
22 August 2007 (U8) Open Day
With the “Summer” almost over (some would say it ended in June) it is time to start thinking about Rugby. With the World Cup fast approaching it is time to get the players enthused once more into the game of Rugby. Last season ended on a real high with a magnificent performance at the St. Neots Festival and then the U7’s being awarded Hitchin Junior Team of the Year
22 August 2007 (Club News) World Cup Rugby ~ France
There will be around 1400000 anglophones coming to France during the period of the World Cup. For these supporters, we have created a website called Sheer Beer. Our site indicates where the best bars are all over France.
We are importing all beers associated with your national rugby teams.
16 August 2007 (Club News) Internationals on Big Screen
Wales V Argentina and France V England will both be shown on the big screen
14 August 2007 (Club Events) Golf Tournament
Hitchin RFC Pub Golf Tournament will take place on Sept 1st after the first game of the season
10 August 2007 (Club News) England V France
The England V France rugby will be shown on the big screen at the Clun on Saturday 11th Aug, kick-off 17.00
