Dear Parents of Hitchin U7's

I hope you are all well and enjoying the 'wet' summer.

I know that you will not believe this but the rugby season is nearly upon us so I thought I would let you all know of the plans for the first few weeks.

The first training session is on Sunday 2nd September at the usual time of 10.30am - 12pm. The following week, Sunday 9th September, is the Hitchin rugby club open day. For these sessions Eric Lanyon (U8s coach) and myself (U7s coach) will be joining forces.

Prior to the first training session you should all be receiving a registration pack from the club for the forthcoming season. If you do not receive this pack, dont worry, just let me know on 2nd September.

For those eager parents who would like to buy the rugby kit, this can be purchased from the club shop. The kit for this season is as follows:-

Shirt: Hitchin Maroon Rugby Shirt (buy at club)
Shorts: Black (please note change in shorts colour)
Socks: Maroon

Please bring plenty of water for your child plus fleece/jumper and tracksuit bottoms (maybe a waterproof or 2, good old British weather !!). For parents you might want to bring a hot drink to keep you going as well as a camping type seat to sit back and enjoy the fun! I would also like to ask that any children that were in the U7's last year, to wear their Hitchin Rugby shirt.
