Hitchin Ladies finished their second match of the season with a win against Peterborough.

Thanks to increased numbers Hitchin were able to put out 14 players however with Peterborough turning up with only 12 unfortunately had to play a reduced numbers game again. This did however give Hitchin the advantage of rolling subs through out the match. Hitchin played a strong fast game taking advantage of the pace in the backs out running Peterborough on many occasions. Despite having a relatively new pack Hitchin were able to hold off Peterborough in the scrums as well. The match was a really positive lead in to the first league match on 7th October.
