Another excellent turnout - seems that an England defeat doesn't dampen spirits!!

A warm welcome to the new starters - Ruby, Jack, Niall and Rhian (both who played Cricket in the summer) - you all gave an excellent first week performance

I was really pleased today as everyone put in a lot of effort and hard work, you also listened and paid attention to everything asked of you - thank you.

We introduced our first 'match' situation and by the end everyone was involved and it was flowing from end to end; congratulations to both the BLUEs and GREENs as the final score was 6 tries each - a fair result.

Everyone contributed; there were excellent runs; great support play; scintillating tries; 'crunching' tags and good communication.

I was particularly impressed with the leadership from the 'Captains for the day' David and Harry D.

It was a difficult decision for the Player of the Week, as all of you really contributed, but for his willingness to listen and try everything asked of him and his running and ball carrying the award this week went to Jack - very well done!!

Next week we have another training session, before two weeks where we are at the Letchworth festival (30/9) and then a match away to Milton Keynes (7/10).

PS Don't forget the Saracens vs. Gloucester match tickets (Sunday 23rd September) and the Mini tour (Easter 2008)

I have email addresses for most, I will send out RFU membership forms, if you do not get one please let me know. We will need these going forward when we play in competitions.
