An England win - hurrah!! More new U8 recruits - double hurrah!!

Everyone put in a lot of effort again this week - well done.

Thank you also to the YELLOWs and REDs for looking after Chris and Mark; they NEED your help!!

And the BLUEs and GREENs for running Simon and me ragged.

The progression in the game situations is really developing well; the YELLOWs and REDs are learning fast and will be ready for matches soon.

The BLUEs and GREENs are looking organised and just about ready for the Letchworth festival next week; I was particularly impressed with the defensive line ups - remember your numbers (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) for next Sunday.

Everyone did really well with your SIDE STEPS - please practice in the garden this week!!

A very well deserved 'Player of the week' this week was Alfie; he put in a lot of effort, and was really good at communicating (you're NEARLY as loud as me!!) with his team and setting up the defensive lines - well done Alfie. Next week is the Letchworth festival and the squad is ALFIE; ALEX P; BEN S; DAVID; ELLIOT W; HARRY D; HARRY L; JONATHAN; JORDAN; SAM.

For all the YELLOWs and REDs there is hopefully a training session at the club next Sunday at the normal time. This will be confirmed on this page later in the week.

Details for the following week (7th October vs Milton Keynes) will appear here; please again e-mail availability to Simon as I'd like to introduce some of the 'newer' players.

Here follows a Party Political broadcast on behalf of the "Lets have fun on Tour" Party

Mini Tour 2008.
The mini tour is always great fun and always brings the teams and families together. As well as organised matches, they will be quad biking, kayaking, climbing and zip wiring to name a few activities. The price of the tour £135 per person includes three nights full board at the PGL site in Lincolnshire, all the activities and travel to and from the fixtures. There is evening entertainment too!
Unfortunately, the under 8's are the least represented and may have to join the under 7's to play in the fixtures which would be a bit of a shame.
There are only a few places left so please have a think about this and look on the link on the club home page for more details. Please contact me if you wish to go or even just want to speak to some of those children who have toured before, they have all put their names down to tour again which shows how much they enjoyed it.
If you are thinking about it and decide you want to come, then please tell me asap at Letchworth so I can hold you a place and we can fill a team. The deposit is £35 per person and I will need this on Sunday. Many thanks. Jill
