I understand there was another good training session on Sunday. A big thank you to Tom for running the session and thank you to all the parents who helped.

Player of the week
This week’s award goes to one of our new younger players called Michael. The reason Michael was chosen was that he showed great enthusiasm, improved his skill levels throughout the session and performed well in the different tasks especially against some of the older players.

Sunday 28th October – Fixture vs St.Neots
This Sunday we have a home fixture against St. Neots. As previously mentioned we will be running two teams, which have been selected as below:

HITCHIN PANTHERS – Connor Dudley, Ethan Brace, Guy Honnywill, Holly Pomfret, Laurence Hidle, Euan Metcalfe, Rory Fookes & Rees Harper-Negus.
HITCHIN JAGUARS – Naomh Taylor, Sam Henshaw, Dylan Crofton, Henry Tucker, Ethan Lavaille, George Lanyon, Harry Hughes & Ben Lowes.

The plan for the morning is for each team to play two matches against the respective St. Neots teams. All players need to be at the club for 10.00am; (we will have a warm up and then start the matches promptly at 10.30am). Players will need to be in Hitchin kit which includes boots and gum shields.

Sunday 4th November – Fixture vs Ampthill
Next Sunday, the 4th November, we have an away fixture at Ampthill. We are also able to take two teams to this fixture so this gives me another chance to introduce some more new players, which is great. Again I only intend to take a maximum of 16 players so I am unfortunately unable to play everyone.

The following players have been selected for this fixture: Alex Baber-Norris, Ethan Brace, Dylan Crofton, Connor Dudley, Sam Henshaw, Laurence Hidle, Christopher Holes, Guy Honnywill, Harry Hughes, Gregory Orman-Brown, Holly Pomfret, Jamie Naylor, Emilia Reece-Jones, Naomh Taylor, Henry Tucker & Rory Fookes.

We will be meeting at Ampthill at 10.00am. Further details and directions will be posted on the website next week.

Training – 28th October & 4th November
Unfortunately, there will be no training at the club this week (Sunday 28th October) as we have a home fixture. However, I do hope to run a training session at the club the following week when we are away at Ampthill (I just need to confirm with the club we have someone able to run the session, so keep an eye on the website next week for details).

Any players not involved in the fixture this Sunday are welcome to come down to the club to support the team. We also have some Halloween fun & games at the club after the matches so why not come down and join in!!
