A volunteer from the Tigers for match reports would be good. If there are any budding journalists out there please make yourselves known. It would be much appreciated. There will be someone on hand to help out with names!
Please call me if you need further information
See you Sunday

Coach's Comments
Firstly I would like to thank Jonathan Charter for running the Speed, Agility and Quickness (SAQ) session on Sunday.
Many of the parents will have seen this new addition to training and I am confident it will help the squad to develop their all around skills.
The session really stretched you all, both physically and mentally, and I know you found the ladders and obstacles a real challenge.
This type of workout will set us up well as the season progresses and I, and I know Jonathan, was delighted with the efforts you all put in - thank you!
Turning to the skills sessions and mini games, again there was plenty of effort from everyone (Blues, Greens and Reds).....EVEN the coaches; well done Charles and Mark.
We worked a lot in the mini games about, SPREADING the ball WIDE, as QUICKLY as possible by PASSING 'down the line.'
You noticed how quickly you created SPACE to run into and scores tries - Let's try to repeat this on Sunday against Cambridge.
You also remembered the 'DEFENCE' positions (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) and setting up the attack with the 'ARROWHEAD' - KEEP IT UP.
Player of the Week was again a tough decision, but the coaches decided this week we would reward effort over the last three Sundays and give the trophy to Ben Lasage. Ben is really developing his rugby skills and took the same commitment and determination he gave when 'loaned out' to St. Neots into the matches against Ampthill - this time representing the Hitchin 'Tigers.' His performance was a key part to the 'Tigers' defeating the more experienced 'Lions' on the same day. You carried this through to this Sunday's training session and so the award is very well deserved - well done Ben.
