Another good win for the boys. 11 tries were scored with 4 conversions.

Fullerians turned up with a depleted side and the game started with Hitchin having 14 & Fullerians on 13 players. Within the first 10 minutes Hitchin were already 22 - 0 up. Hitchin then lent them two players and were then played against 15 with us only having 14!!! (apparently our coaches can't count). Throughout the rest of the half Hitchins' superiority showed through and were 46 - 5 up at half time. The ref had already asked Fullerians if they wanted to end the game five minutes before half time.
They bravely carried on. Hitchins only downside to the first half was conceding a try due to sloppy defending.

The second half bizzarely started with Hitchin on 13 players & Fullerians on

15 !?. We soon got back up to 14 and scored three more tries. At this point of being 63 - 5 up the ref called the game with 20 minutes left.

Hitchin were superb throughout the game and unfortunately for them, Fullerians were unable to cope. A word of praise goes to Fullerians who, even though getting beaten, played the game as it should be, not giving and with heart. A lesson for everyone!!! Many thanks to the Fullerians coach for his kind words after the game.
We are now second in the league behind Datchworth. So we know who to beat in the new year.

far this season, we as a squad, would not have come this far. Here's to an even better 2008.
