Biggleswade turned up with only 12 players , so again we had to lend them three. So thank you to our players who played for them. The game was played very physically by both sides with Hitchin scoring first and second to make it 10 - 0. Biggleswade then came back into it and scored a converted try, 10 - 7.

The hogs then extended their lead to 15 - 7 but Biggleswade came back to make it 15 - 14 at half time. Throughout the half Hitchin played some great rugby with fantastic scrumaging & rucking with the

back line supporting this with quick passing and fast running. This was great to see against a generally bigger side.

The second half commenced and Hitchin ran in another three tries showing great determination in securing the ball and keeping possession. Obviously the aggression levels had increased in our players over the Christmas period. Biggleswade scored & converted one last try before Hitchin again scored the final try. Final score 37 - 21 to Hitchin.

This was a great performance against a bigger team and the most physical game so far this season. Well done to the boys for this win. This will put

you all in great shape for the league visit of St. Evenage.
