This was always going to be a hard match – Dunstablians are a strong team, with some excellent talent (with few surrounding clubs to compete with, they are a natural draw for good players). They are deservedly top of the league!!
Dunstable took the lead early on with a couple of break away tries but Hitchin fought back bravely. The game was played in a good spirit and there was some excellent rugby to watch from both sides. Our Colts played well and the final score did not really reflect the competitive nature of the game – even Mr. Frisch said that!!! Well done lads! You did a mighty fine job!
