We had our first training session of the New Year on Sunday and it was great to see such a good turnout, especially from the younger U6 players. It was bright and breezy, but all the players put in a lot of effort and it was a good session. Thanks to Adrian, Brian, Jez, Rob, Martin and Glyn for their help during the morning.

The ‘Player of the Week’ award went to one of our young U6 players this week, so congratulations goes to Harry Laing. Harry was paying attention throughout the session, listening to what the coaches were saying and did everything asked of him. He showed good skills in the drills that we did and performed very well in his group, especially as he was in a group with three of our experienced U7 players. I was particularly impressed with his running with the ball in hand and dodging. He is showing good potential for the future. Well done Harry.

RFU Cards

Just a reminder, I still have a number of RFU cards which are missing photos. Could the following players organise two passport size photos so I can complete your cards:-

Daniel Hill, Kai Prpa, Casey Prpa, Callum Russell, William Fraser, Bruce Macarthur, Mathew Warlow, Patrick Higgitt, Ben Aves, Callum Turner and William Timson.

Sunday 10th February

This week there is training at the club usual time 10.30am.

Sunday 17th & 24th February

As mentioned at the end of the session on Sunday, our next two fixtures are away at OA’s (St. Albans) on 17th February and at Datchworth on 24th February. In order for me to plan for these weeks can you advise me of your availability for these matches. The teams will be selected and posted on the website next week along with all the arrangements.
