Well I hope you all enjoyed your Easter weekend, a Sunday without rugby for most of us except for the small few, who braved the rain, wind and snow on the tour. By all accounts you all had a great time even considering the weather. Thanks to Tom and Helen for looking after you in my absence.

Sunday 30th March

This week, Sunday 30th March we have a home fixture against Royston. I have selected the following squad of players for this fixture. Can all players be at the club for 10.00am. The teams will be selected on Sunday morning once I know exactly how many teams Royston have (they are hoping to bring 2 or possibly 3 teams).

Alex Baber-Norris, Oskar Bhowmick, Ethan Brace, Alfie Canon, Corgan Dowle, Connor Dudley, Rory Fookes, Harry Laing, Sam Henshaw, Laurence Hidle, Daniel Hill, Chris Holes, Harry Hughes, Sam Humphrey, George Lanyon, Ben Lowes, Cameron Maxwell, Euan Metcalfe, Joshua Platt, Holly Pomfret, Kai Prpa, Ciaran Sale, Alexander Smith, Ben Sutton, Naomh Taylor and Henry Tucker.

Due to the Easter break I am not 100% sure of players availability, therefore if you are unable to play please let me know. Those players playing their first games for the club you will need to be in Hitchin kit with boots and gum shields. As we will have more players again this week can I ask all players to meet at the club promptly, so we can have a good warm up and preparation before the matches start at 10.30am.

Please note there is no training at the club this week, Sunday 30th March.

Sunday 6th April

Our next full training session is Sunday 6th April. IMPORTANT NOTE: This is our final training session before the County Festival the following week (13th April); therefore can I ask that all regular players for the Panthers & Jaguars attend this session. This will be our last chance to prepare before the festival so it is important all players are present. If you are unable to attend please let me know.

Sunday 13th April

We have the County Festival at Tring on Sunday 13th April. We will be taking two teams to this festival and the teams will be selected after this weeks fixture and posted on the website next week.

Next Season

REMINDER FOR U6 PARENTS: As previously mentioned the club are currently looking for some U7 coaches and helpers for next season. We have had an excellent turnout with our younger U6 players this year and there are a good core of players who will still be eligible for U7’s next season. If any parents are interested in getting more involved next season and helping on a Sunday morning, there are coaching courses available so please let me know.
