Deserved celebrations by one team of U9s with County Festival Shield
On Saturday 28th April Hitchin's Under 9s competed in the Herts. County Mini Rugby Festival held at Hertford Rugby Club. One of three equally matched Hitchin Under 9s teams won the Hertfordshire Mini County Shield after defeating Old Albanians B team 2-0. The team scored a total of 16 tries in 6 games throughout a hard rainy day and only conceded 1 !!! Two other teams of Under 9s just missed out on trophies in the quarter finals but play and spirit was excellent. Good rugby spirit all round.
